QPing is under active development. The currently deployed app uses a development database. Contact us before relying on it for essential business records or entering sensitive information.
1. What this policy covers
This page describes the QPing website and web app, including customer self check-in, digital queue tickets, and Customer Voice. Contact QPing at qping.app@gmail.com about these services.
2. Information and how it is used
Owner accounts use an email address and password for authentication. The app stores business details, customer names and mobile numbers, service selections, queue entries, visit history, notes, and payment records to support the business workflows you use. These records are saved in Supabase; reloading the app does not erase them.
Customer Voice stores the submitted rating, selected keywords, approved feedback, business, and submission date. Permanent business feedback links allow anonymous feedback. A visit-specific link associates feedback with the existing visit and customer.
Digital ticket links show queue status without publishing customer mobile numbers. Anyone with a ticket or visit-specific feedback link may access that link's permitted information; share these links carefully.
This website
The website's product illustrations and category examples use fictional sample information. The website does not contain analytics, advertising scripts, a contact form, or a waitlist. Fonts are hosted with the website.
4. Retention and deletion
Business records persist in the backend. The daily queue reset starts a new business day while preserving visit history and payment records. Removing the app from a device or reloading a page does not delete backend data.
For account or information deletion requests, see Data deletion or email qping.app@gmail.com. Requests require verification of the appropriate account or business authority. Specific retention periods and any applicable exceptions will be confirmed when handling the request.
5. Security and business responsibilities
Business access uses authenticated accounts and database access controls. Public ticket and visit feedback links act as access credentials for their limited views. Keep account credentials and private links secure; no service can guarantee absolute security.
The website does not request contacts, SMS, precise location, camera, or microphone access. Scanning a QR code uses your chosen camera or scanner application. Sharing or calling opens the service you select.
Businesses are responsible for having permission to collect customer information and contact customers. If a business collected your details, contact that business about its records. QPing is not a medical records system.
